Should You Grab Every Opportunity?

Grab Every Good Opportunity!
By: Jenesa Oranio BSHRM-2

We entered college with grand dreams. College, figuratively speaking, taught us to be greedy with our ideals. As a student, we have lots of opportunities - opportunities to take all the risks for us to pass in our studies.

Students are all the same, we study; we get grades according to our efforts. Opportunity to look for a part-time job if possible, which helps us to send ourselves to school. I think, several of us are inspired rather than provoked by the desire to learn more than the usual. True, our country offers less compensation. Graduates here in the Philippines cannot easily find jobs. So people can’t really blame us if we yearn for international flights and grab the opportunity waiting for us there.

We have also the opportunity to love our countrymen; we love even if we are just giving to people our advices. We love even if we are just giving to the needed people our small amount of contribution. We care, because we love. Aside from loving our countrymen, we have also the opportunity to love our opposite sex because we know that it could change one’s life. This could determine if we are ready to handle a relationship. College life is different from high school life. You must be responsible enough and much more mature with your attitudes.

Above all, we need to be brave enough, despite all the trials that come into our lives. And someday, we’ll see the fruits of our sacrifices…we’re blessed that we studied so don’t lost all the opportunities, study hard, strive and strive until you succeed. Go all with your grand dreams. #
